The February 2019 release of the NCS Archive adds 2 new research datasets as well as the accompanying Woman and Father study Visit Database manuals to better describe the available data. These new manuals are in addition to an existing child manual. As part of the Archive’s continuing research efforts, a new presentation on Multiple Risk Factors during Pregnancy has been added. This data is available as a basis for future research. The Archive research tools have been update with the most current information.
These updates along with other improvements are outlined below.

- Added clarification text for count values based on response missingness
- Variable Locator
- Updated with new restricted access data files
- ARS Fathers Study Visit
- Vanguard Study (VS) Post Recruitment Follow-up
Data & Documentation
- Study Documents
- Two new Study Visit Database manuals have been added describing the Woman and Father restricted access study files, consolidated across enrollment phases, available for restricted use.

- Added clarification to the Research Materials Distribution Agreement (RMDA) noting that Unless otherwise noted on the agreement, the RDMA becomes effective on the signature date of the NICHD Authorized Representative.

- Updated the proposal inventory with new requests and updated statuses.
Sample & Lab Data
- Biological and Environmental Sample Repository Inventory
- Updated the inventory tables to reflect currently available Biospecimen and Environmental samples (removed requested samples).
- Sample Explorer
- Updated the Sample Explorer to reflect currently available Biospecimen and Environmental samples (removed requested samples).
